SASTraffic police have warned of delays after a collision on the M80.
The incident took place on the northbound section of motorway between Old Inns and Auchenkilns in Cumbernauld on Saturday afternoon.
Lane three has been closed at junction 6 and drivers have been urged to use caution in the area.
Traffic is currently heavy in the area as a result of the accident at 1.18pm
A statement from Traffic Scotland said: “M80(N) at junction 6, lane 3 (of 3) is closed, due to a road traffic incident. Road users are advised to use caution on approach.”
Emergency services are currently at the scene and there is no information available on any injuries at the moment.
All lanes were back open and running as normal by 3pm.
