A 12-year-old boy has been rushed to hospital after the crash occurred on Thursday morning.

A child has been rushed to hospital after being hit by a car in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the incident on Glasgow’s Great Western Road.

The crash occurred on Thursday around 8am and involved a 12-year-old boy and a car.

Police said the boy was taken to hospital following the condition, however his current condition is unknown.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Thursday, August 17, 2023 we received a report of a crash involving a pedestrian and a car on Great Western Road, Glasgow. 

“Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 12-year-old boy, was taken to hospital.”
