Scotland star Erin Cuthbert has received an Honorary Doctorate from the University of the West of Scotland.
The 24-year-old Chelsea FC Women winger was awarded with the title during graduation celebrations at the uni in Paisley.
Cuthbert is a former student at UWS and received the honour alongside almost 2,000 other graduates at the summer ceremonies.
In a Twitter post the university said it was “delighted” to welcome the international player back.
“Former UWS student Erin received her award amongst almost 2,000 graduates at our summer ceremonies,” the tweet read.
“It was great to welcome you back to UWS, Erin – congrats.”
She was also congratulated by the SFA and Chelsea Football Club on their social media accounts.
Cuthbert has 58 caps for Scotland and has scored 20 international goals.
