A Scottish grandad is stranded in a Spanish hospital after suffering a stroke while watching the Old Firm game last month.
David Morrison was rushed to hospital after he collapsed while watching the clash between Rangers and Celtic in Benidorm on Sunday, March 16.
The 70-year-old, from Glasgow, underwent emergency high-risk surgery, which left him in a coma for days, and also suffered a seizure.
His daughter, Deborah, said her father remains in the Spanish hotspot with an “urgent need” for heart surgery.
She has since launched a GoFundMe, aiming to raise £6,000 in an effort to bring David back to Glasgow.

She said: “My dad suffered a major stroke while on holiday in Benidorm while watching the Rangers and Celtic game.
“He’s been admitted to three different hospitals.
“I will need to fly my dad home assisted by two nurses, pay ambulances from Alicante to Glasgow. The cheapest quote is £6,000 and everything is adding up.
“Anyone that knows my family knows my mum doesn’t keep well. She’s out there frightened.
“Any wee odd pounds would help to pay medical bills and air ambulance assistance to get my dad home. It’s desperate times now.”
An FCDO spokesperson said: “We are supporting the family of a British man in hospital in Spain.”
