British Transport PoliceA search has been launched for a man following an incident on a train.
British Transport Police were alerted to the incident that happened on board a train between Glasgow Central and Ayr around 9pm on April 3.
Officers have released an image of a man they believe may be able to help with their ongoing investigation.
The man is described as Asian, in his late twenties to early thirties, between 5ft 11 and 6ft, and of a slim build with dark hair.
He was last seen wearing dark clothing and carrying a large sports bag.
BTP is urging anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for BTP said: “Anyone with information is urged to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 732 of April 3.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed anonymously.
