An investigation has been launched after a man was seen acting aggressively towards a woman and two small children at a train station in Ayrshire.
British Transport Police were contacted by a member of the public after the man was seen shouting and swearing towards the woman, believed to be known to him, at Dalry railway station around 3pm on February 15.
The man kicked and punched a shelter before boarding a train in the direction of Glasgow Central.
The woman and children were left on the platform.
Officers have been working to identify the woman and check on her and the children’s welfare.
Anyone who knows the woman, or is the woman concerned, is asked to contact BTP on 61016 using the reference 418 of February 15.
