A search has been launched following the “out of character” disappearance of a Motherwell woman on Monday.
Katherine Smith was last seen around 1.55pm on the town’s Cumbrae Drive.
The 45-year-old is described as being 5ft 6in in height and was wearing a light blue coat, black jeans and white trainers when last seen
Detectives believe Katherine may have travelled to Strathclyde Park.
Police Scotland says it is “out of character” for the woman to be out of contact with family or friends.
Those with information regarding her whereabouts are urged to contact 101, quoting incident number 1806 of December 1.
