A search has been launched for a man from Motherwell following his disappearance on Thursday night.

Terry Watt was reported missing from the Biggar Road area at around 8.50pm.

The 49-year-old is described as being around 5ft 10in tall, of muscular build with shaved light brown hair.

He has a number of distinctive tattoos, including a paper aeroplane on his left wrist, a neck tattoo, and a tribal tattoo on his upper arm and chest.

Terry’s current clothing is unknown.

He is believed to have access to his car, a blue Seat (registration FP66WOB), and may be heading towards Ayrshire.

Inspector Graham Reid said: “It is unusual for Terry not to be in contact with his family and we are appealing for anyone who has seen him or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.

“I would also ask anyone who was in the area and who may have seen the car to get in touch.”
