Police ScotlandA second man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of Alan Lawson.
The 36-year-old from Saltcoats died in hospital on February 6 following an assault at a property on Alexander Avenue in Largs.
Jordan Honeyman appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on February 24 charged with the murder of Mr Lawson and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
The 29-year-old made no plea and was committed for further examination and remanded in custody.
On Wednesday, police confirmed a second man, aged 27, is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, February 28, in connection with the death.
