A man is in hospital following a “serious assault” in South Lanarkshire on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened on Burnhill Street in Rutherglen around 4.45pm on March 26.
Emergency services attended and a 32-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Officers are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Detective constable Stuart Adams, Cambuslang CID, said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and we are appealing for the help of the public.
“I’d appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious to come forward. Likewise, if you have dashcam or private CCTV that could assist, please contact police to bring this to our attention.”
