Parts of the A83 have been closed in both directions following a “serious” crash in North Kintyre.
Emergency services responded to reports of a collision around 12.05pm on Thursday.
Traffic Scotland confirmed that the A83 south of Clachan on Tarbert Road was closed in both directions.
Drivers have been urged to avoid the area and take alternative routes where possible.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “The A83 South of Clachan, Tarbert is closed in both directions following a crash which was reported to police around 12.05pm.
“Emergency services are in attendance and drivers are advised to avoid the area where possible.”
