An investigation has been launched after a sexual assault and robbery in Glasgow during the early hours of Wednesday.

Emergency services received reports of the incident at around 2am on Mitchell Street.

Enquiries to establish the full circumstances into the theft and attack are still ongoing.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2am on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, we received a report of a sexual assault and theft in the Mitchell Street area of Glasgow.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
