An appeal has been launched after a five-foot-long snake called Elvis disappeared from a flat in Glasgow.
The California long snake has been missing for a few days after escaping his vivarium on Pollokshaws road.
Owner Kirsty MacFarlane said: “He’s not dangerous, he’s actually really sweet.
‘I’m worried he’ll have found a way out of the building.’

“They can disappear for months and still turn up but because he’s got previous for this.
“I’m worried he’ll have found a way out of the building.”
Originally a rescue from the Scottish SPCA, Elvis has been described by his owner as “such a character”.
Kirsty added: “He’s a much loved pet and I would like him home safely as soon as possible.”
If a member of the public is to come across him they should contact the Scottish SPCA, who knows he is missing, on 03000 999 999.
