A newlywed couple celebrated their big day with pictures on a ScotRail train in East Dunbartonshire.
Kyle and Lara tied the knot at Kilmardinny House on Friday and commemorated the day with pictures at Milngavie Station.
While most couples will leave their guests to get pictures after saying, “I do,” not many will run to a nearby train station.
But this couple, who moved here from South Africa, said they wanted the big day to include all the things they loved, which meant a dash to Milngavie Station.

“Every Sunday we get on a train at the station and adventure all around Glasgow seeing new places,” Kyle told STV News.
“The trains work so well here, they’re clean and fast, and those days are always so fun for us.”
He added: “We wanted our day to include all the things we love, and so we asked ScotRail if it would be possible.”
After two years of planning, the big day arrived, and the couple’s photographers were more than happy to join in the adventure.

Chris and Suzanne from Picture You Photography Loch Lomond were “over the moon” with how the pictures turned out.
“We loved the idea. They were a lovely couple, and their story blew us away. It’s always nice to do something a little different at a wedding, and this one was up there for sure,” they said.
The moment turned out even better than anyone could’ve imagined when the team arrived at a completely empty station.
Kyle added: “We were the only people there, it was completely empty, and we got so lucky. We were able to jump on and off some of the trains, and the pictures turned out great.”
The couple added that ScotRail got them a card and a bottle of champagne to celebrate the big day.
ScotRail shared the pictures on social media and congratulated the couple, saying: “Congratulations to this wonderful couple who tied the knot on Friday and celebrated with wedding photos at Milngavie Station.”
