While Halloween isn’t until next week, spooky season is starting early in Paisley with the town’s annual festival.
The Halloween Festival sees the streets of Scotland’s largest town come alive with an enchanting parade, magical installations, and spine-tingling street performances.
STV NewsThe event comes after Paisley was named Town of The Year at the Scotland Loves Local Awards on Friday.
The Renfrewshire town recognised for reaching a “critical point” in its transformation with events like this contributing to the regrenreation and revival.
STV NewsThe festival will run from 4pm until 9pm on Friday, and from 2pm until 9pm on Saturday.
The parade with take place at 7pm on both days of the festival and see beloved worlds from children’s books and films come to life.
From Harry Potter’s giant chess pieces to creatures from Where the Wild Things Are, the parade promises to immerse crowds in the magic and wonder of their favourite stories.
The heart of the town will also be transformed into a whimsical wonderland, featuring several Halloween-themed installations.
