Stevie Nicks has cancelled her upcoming show in Glasgow just hours before she was due to take to the stage.
The Fleetwood Mac frontwoman was set to play at the OVO Hydro on Saturday, July 6.
However, due to a “recent leg injury” meaning the 76-year-old needs to recovery from surgery, the show has been postponed – just five hours before she was due to take to the stage.
The show was set to be the first time the singer songwriter performed in Scotland since 2015 when she headlined the venue with Fleetwood Mac.
Her performance in Manchester on July 9 has also been postponed. A new date for both performances has yet to be announced.
The Ovo Hydro announced the cancellation on social media, writing: “Due to a recent leg injury requiring a minor surgical procedure that will need a few days of recovery time, Stevie Nicks’ scheduled performances in Glasgow Saturday, July 6, and Manchester Tuesday, July 9, have been postponed.
“More information will be available at point of purchase, ticketholders are advised to hold on to their tickets as rescheduled dates will be announced soon.
“Stevie looks forward to seeing everyone at Hyde Park in London.”
