Two best friends have dressed up as Jack and Victor from Still Game for Halloween, celebrating the spooky holiday with apple juice instead of pints.
Harris Jackson, six, and Callum McKendrick, aged five, transformed into the comedic pensioners played by Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill in the Scots show.
Callum got into costume as Jack Jarvis, while Harris dressed up as Victor.
Both boys completed the look with glued on moustaches and eyebrows and wrapped up in checked scarves.
Creative mums Stephanie McLeod, 25, and Danielle Spence, 29, trawled charity shops in Greenock, Inverclyde, to create the costumes.
Harris’ mother Danielle said: “They are best friends and love spending time together.
“We just decided it would be a great idea and a bit of good fun.
“They’re loving it and even have pints of apple juice as props.”
Both boys are pupils at St Andrew’s Primary and clutched copies of the Greenock Telegraph to show their hometown pride.
Callum’s mum Stephanie added: “From the start of the school year I used to call the boys Jack and Victor because of their high spirits, so I said to Danielle ‘let’s DIY a Jack and Victor act’.
“We searched the internet high and low and couldn’t find anything to suit the pair so I decided we go to the charity shops in town and sure enough we got outfits to suit the act.
“I’ve always done my own DIY Halloween costumes from when Callum was a year old but this one is is the best.
“It took us only two days to put the outfits together and I ordered eyebrows and mustaches of the internet.
“The two boys are best of friends they had a lot of fun dressing up and were over the moon.
“They even practiced a few lines from the show, Callum is a right big fan of Still Game – its on in my house every night.
“I’ve seen every episode ten times over.”
