A suspect has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man found dead in a Glasgow home.
Emergency services were called to a property at Glenraith Square, Craigend at around 5.45pm on Tuesday, March 17, following concerns for the occupant.
A 49-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene and has been named as David Smith.
Police Scotland launched a murder investigation following the discovery.
Joseph Dow has since appeared in court charged with murder and one count of attempts to defeat the ends of justice.
The 38-year-old, of no fixed abode, made no plea and was remanded in custody.
He is due to make his next court appearance within the next eight days
