A suspect has been charged after a murder investigation was launched following an incident in South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services were called to reports of two injured men in Braeside Crescent, Kirkmuirhill around 4.45am on August 27.
One man, who has been named as 30-year-old Scott Boyd, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 35-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment and has since been released.
On Tuesday, police confirmed a 35-year-old man has now been charged in connection with the death.
He is due to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
