A pair of sex attacks hours apart in Paisley, one involving a teenage girl, are being treated as linked by police.
The first incident happened at a cycle path near to Maxwelton Street, at around 2.25pm on August 24.
The second report came just hours later, from River Cart Walkway, around 6.25pm.
The two victims – a 14-year-old girl and a 22-year-old woman – were uninjured but shaken by the incidents.
Police have described the suspect as being aged between 18-23, with light-coloured facial stubble, wearing black trousers and a black hooded top, with his head covered.
Detective Inspector Alex Allardyce, from Paisley CID, said: “We’re appealing for anyone who was in these areas and witnessed anything suspicious to come forward.
“We are also keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the man in question on other Paisley cycle paths recently, and has any information on other potential incidents.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident 2189 of August 24.
“There will be an increased police presence in the area over the coming days, with officers carrying out additional patrols. Anyone with any concerns should approach these officers for assistance.”
