Police have appealed for witnesses after four people were injured when a taxi crashed into pedestrians in Glasgow.
Four pedestrians were on Union Street at its junction with Gordon Street around 1.50pm on Saturday when they were hit.
Emergency services attended, and two women, aged 60 and 61, and the male driver of the taxi, aged 62, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A 61-year-old woman was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary, and one woman, aged 50, was assessed by paramedics at the scene.
No further information on their conditions has been given.
STV NewsSeveral roads in the city centre were closed to allow police to conduct investigations at various locations, but they have since reopened.
Sergeant Christopher Hoggans from Road Policing said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened. I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to contact us with any information they may have.
“I would also ask anyone with recording equipment to check the footage as it could assist us in our ongoing investigation.”
