A teenager has been charged after a man was pronounced dead at the scene of a disturbance in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Maree Road and Lochbroom Drive in the Foxbar area of Paisley around 4.15pm on Saturday.
A 21-year-old man was found seriously injured and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 19-year-old was taken to hospital shortly after the incident for treatment and was later discharged.
Police have now confirmed that the 19-year-old has been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The force said there is no wider risk to the public, but a police presence will remain in the area.
Police Scotland is urging anyone with information regarding the incident to come forward.
Detective Inspector Euan McMillan said: “My thoughts remain with the deceased’s family and friends, and we continue to offer them support at this time.
“There is no risk to the wider public. However, we will continue to have a police presence in the area, and anyone with any concerns can approach these officers.
“Our enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances of this incident, and I would appeal to anyone who has any video footage around the time, including from phones, CCTV, or dash-cams, to please contact the police. In addition, any witnesses or anyone who has any additional information that may assist, we ask that you come forward.
