Teen in court charged with trying to stab woman to death

A teenager has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after a woman was allegedly stabbed in Glasgow on Thursday.

Emergency services were called to Scaraway Terrace in the Milton area of the city at around 3.55pm on Thursday.

A 41-year-old woman was taken to hospital for treatment following the attack.

A 17-year-old male has since appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court charged with attempted murder. He made no plea and was remanded in custody.

The teen is due to reappear in court within the next eight days.
