A teenage paddleboarder was treated for hypothermia after getting into trouble in water off Dumfries and Galloway.
Crew members from Port William Inshore Rescue Service spotted the paddleboarder while settled down for a barbecue on Sunday evening.
After deciding that the person was in difficulty, Coastguard was contacted and crew members launched into the water.

Despite the casualty drifting northwards towards West Barr Caravan Park, he was successfully rescued and brought on board.
The 17-year-old was taken into the care of the Coastguard due to being hypothermic and having ingested water before being taken to hospital by ambulance.
Port William Inshore Rescue Service said the callout could “easily have had a different, more tragic outcome”.
A spokesperson said: “A fantastic effort from everyone involved.”
