A teenager shouted racist and sectarian remarks outside the Celtic vs Hearts Scottish Cup final.
On Thursday, Lewis Anderson, 19, pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by religious prejudice.
The offence took place on the Aitkenhead Road side of Hampden Park last December 20.
No fans were permitted entry to the cup final – which Celtic won on penalties – due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Anderson also admitted a separate charge of having a Stanley knife without a reasonable excuse at Glasgow Green on June 5, 2020.
He further pleaded guilty to shouting, swearing and making a racist remark to a constable at the same time and place.
Further facts are due to be read out at Anderson’s sentencing next month.
Sheriff Ian Miller continued the consideration of a football banning order.
Anderson, of Glasgow’s city centre, who was not in attendance at court but was represented by lawyer Richard Allen, had his bail continued meantime.
