iStockA teenage girl who disappeared from a town in Ayrshire has been traced.
Chloe Gallagher was last seen in the Vernon Street area of Saltcoats at around midday on Tuesday.
Police were “increasingly concerned” for the 17-year-old’s welfare and issued an appeal to trace her.
On Wednesday, officers confirmed the teenager had been found.
The public have been thanked for their assistance.
