Emergency services were called to the Haghill Road area in Dennistoun at around 1.05pm following reports of an assault.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.05pm on Friday, June 13, we received a report of an assault in the Haghill Road area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended and a 17-year-old male youth was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
