A man has been arrested after a person was raped in Glasgow city centre during the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Emergency services were called to Sauchiehall Lane at around 3.10am following reports of a serious sexual assault.
On Thursday, police confirmed that an 18-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident.
He has since been released pending further enquiries.
Officer patrols are ongoing in the city centre as enquiries continue.
