A teenager has been arrested and charged following an incident of “serious disorder” in Paisley.

Police were called to the Ferguslie Park Avenue area of the town after receiving reports of a disturbance at around 5pm on Saturday, May 11.

On Monday, officers confirmed a 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an incident of serious disorder.

He is expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.

A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
