A teenager has been arrested following an alleged assault near a high school in Glasgow on Monday morning.
Emergency services were called to the Balgrayhill Road area near Springburn Academy following reports of a male youth being attacked at around 8am.
Officers arrived at the scene; however, the incident was not ongoing, and no injuries were reported.
A 15-year-old was arrested in connection following enquiries and a search of the area. An investigation is still ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8am on Monday, March 2, 2026, we were called to a report of a male youth being assaulted in the Balgrayhill Road area of Glasgow.
“Officers attended however nothing was ongoing and no injuries have been reported.
“Following enquiries and a search of the area a 15-year-old male has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
