A teenager was arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer during a protest outside a home in Glasgow.
Police were called to a street in Govan at around 7pm on Tuesday after a group gathered to raise concerns about a person “living in the area”.
A man, aged 44, was arrested in connection with a disturbance.
Police confirmed that a 16-year-old was also arrested for allegedly assaulting an officer. He will appear in court at a later date.
An investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance outside a property in Glasgow around 7pm on Tuesday, July 11, 2023.
“Officers attended and a 44-year-old man was arrested in connection with the disturbance and enquiries are ongoing.
“A 16-year-old male youth was arrested and charged in connection with an assault on an officer.
“He is due to appear at court at a later date.”
