Two men have been left with serious injuries during an attack in Glasgow.
Police were called to Sauchiehall Street after midnight following reports of an assault on Thursday.
The victims, aged 18 and 19, were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The junction between Sauchiehall Street and Charing Cross was closed due to the incident.
There was a significant police presence as officers carried out an investigation.
Detective inspector Sarah McArthur said: “Around 12.25am on Thursday, July 30, officers were called to the Sauchiehall Street in Glasgow, following reports of two men being seriously assaulted.
“The men, aged 18 and 19, were conveyed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with serious, but not life threatening injuries.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
