Thousands of music fans heading to TRNSMT have been forced to queue for hours in sweltering temperatures as organisers deal with a bottleneck at the entrance.
Despite the gates for the music festival at Glasgow Green opening at noon on Saturday, some fans were left waiting in 23C heat for hours.
Angry revellers took to social media to complain about the queues, with some claiming they had been waiting to enter the site for up to three hours.
Others were left upset they had missed acts while waiting to get inside.
TRNSMT organisers said they were aware of “longer than average waiting times” to enter the site and that welfare teams would be handing out water to those waiting in the queue.
A spokesperson for TRNSMT said: “There are currently longer than average waiting times for fans entering the festival.
“Our welfare teams are handing out water to those queuing and we’re doing our best to get everyone through security and inside as quickly and safely as possible.
“We’re grateful for the patience of those waiting, and ask anyone who needs assistance to get the attention of the stewards or welfare teams.”
