Three dogs found dead in property as woman to appear in court

A woman is to appear in court after three dogs were found dead in a property following welfare concerns.

Police attended a property on Muirbeck Road in Newbie, Annan, on Wednesday around 7.40pm following a report of concern for the dogs.

All three were found dead.

A 37-year-old woman has been arrested and charged in connection with animal welfare offences.

She is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court at a later date.
