Three in hospital and four treated at scene after city centre crash

Three people have been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the incident on Thursday afternoon.

Three people are in hospital and multiple have been treated at the scene of a crash in Glasgow.

Emergency services, including a critical care paramedic, were called to a crash involving vehicles around 12.45pm on High Street.

Four people were treated and released at the scene.

Three people were taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 12.45pm to attend a two-car road traffic collision on High Street, Glasgow.

“We dispatched two ambulances, a paramedic response unit (PRU), and a critical care paramedic (CCP) to the scene.

“We transported three patients to Glasgow Royal Infirmary.”

Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
