Three more charged over Scottish Cup quarter-final disorder, bringing total arrests to 43

A further three men have been arrested and charged over disorder following the Scottish Cup quarter-final match.

Fans clashed on the field after Celtic knocked Rangers out of the Scottish Cup on penalties at Ibrox on March 8, prompting police to intervene.

Police Scotland have since been conducting extensive enquiries to identify people involved in the disorder.

Three more men, aged 45, 30 and 20, have been arrested and charged in connection with assault and breach of the peace offences.

They have been released on undertakings to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court at a later date.

This brings the total number of arrests to 43.

Police are continuing to appeal to the public for information which could help in their investigation into the disorder at Ibrox.
