Three teens charged after man attacked on street

Three teenage boys have been charged after a man was attacked on the street in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called to the incident on Argyle Street at around 9.05pm on Monday.

A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment following the assault.

Three male teenagers aged 14, 16 and 17 were traced by officers and charged in connection with the incident. They are due to be reported to the relevant authorities.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.05pm on Monday, July 6, 2026, we received a report of a man having been assaulted on Argyle Street in Glasgow.

“Officers attended, and the man, aged 30, was taken to hospital for assessment.

“Three male youths aged 14,16 and 17 were traced a short time later and arrested and charged in connection. They will be reported to the relevant authorities.”
