Topshop is set to return to Glasgow this month, five years after officially closing its doors.

The move marks the first time fans of the brand will be able to browse Topshop products in-store since the chain went into administration in 2020, which led to the closure of its physical stores in the city.

The fashion chain was purchased by ASOS, which closed the retailer’s website in 2021.

Buchanan Galleries announced on Monday that Topshop will begin being stocked in John Lewis within a matter of weeks.

“We’re kicking off a new month with some big news,” the post read.

“Topshop is officially coming to John Lewis.

“That’s right, we’re only a few weeks away from being able to browse what’s new at Topshop in stores once again, thanks to their exclusive partnership with John Lewis.

“The official launch date info is coming soon, so stay tuned for all the details.”
