A tree has fallen on a train in Glasgow as Storm Isha batters Scotland with extreme winds.
The incident happened at Crosshill on Cathcart Circle around 7pm on Sunday evening.
Network Rail confirmed there were no injuries due to the incident.
A spokesperson for ScotRail confirmed that the customers were able to leave the train shortly after the incident.
The train has since made its way back to Glasgow Central.
A spokesperson for Network Rail said: “A train has struck a tree at Crosshill on the Cathcart Circle.
“There are no injuries, however the tree is stuck underneath the train.
“Our response and track teams are on their way.”
The incident comes as Scotland is battered by strong winds amid Storm Isha.
The Met Office currently has an amber weather warning in place that will last until Monday morning.
Gusts reaching 65-75mph are expected widely, and even 80-85mph gusts over parts of west and northern Scotland.
The agency said there is a chance that injuries and “danger to life” could occur from flying debris.
Ahead of the storm picking up, ScotRail suspended all services from 7pm.
