The trial of a Celtic fan who allegedly mocked the Ibrox disaster at an Old Firm game was not set due to outstanding CCTV.
Darren Malloch, 35, was back in the dock at Glasgow Sheriff Court for a further hearing into the matter.
He is charged with conducting himself in a disorderly manner during the 1-1 draw at Ibrox Stadium on May 4 this year.
Court papers state Malloch, of the city’s Parkhouse, behaved in an aggressive manner.
It is claimed that he directed offensive imagery and gestures towards fans seated in the home section of the stadium.
Malloch once again made no plea to the charge of breach of the peace.
Isla Sinclair, defending, told the court: “We are waiting for CCTV to be lodged.
“It will be a joint motion to continue the matter for the CCTV to become available.”
Prosecutor Ramsay Cunningham stated: “The CCTV is outstanding and there is a target of August 21 and I will chase that up to see that it is received and disclosed by the next date.”
Malloch was made subject to a football ban at the first hearing of the case in July this year.
It has previously been reported that Malloch received an indefinite ban from Celtic Park.
In a statement after the match, Rangers said: “It is deeply upsetting that once again, an incident like this has occurred.
“As the club has stated before, the Ibrox disaster remains the darkest day in our club’s history and continues to affect a number of families to this day.
“The mocking and celebration of any tragedy is abhorrent, and has no place in any football stadium or society as a whole.
“The club urges the justice system to take the appropriate action over these matters.”
