A family say they have been left “devastated” over the death of a man found seriously injured at a flat in Dundee.

Alister Lamb was found injured at a property on Balunie Terrace around 5.30pm on Friday.

The 36-year-old was taken to Ninewells Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Mr Lamb’s family paid tribute to him in a statement released by Police Scotland

“Alister was dearly loved by all the family, and we are now trying to come to terms with our tragic loss”, they said.

“We are completely devastated and ask that our privacy is respected as this difficult time.”

A 17-year-old man appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court on Tuesday, charged with murder.

He made no plea and was committed for further examination.

The teenager was remanded in custody and is due to appear in court again within the next eight days.
