Headline acts such as 50 Cent, Biffy Clyro and Snow Patrol will take to the stage this weekend for TRNSMT festival 2025.
The three-day Glasgow Green event returns on Friday, with the American rapper headlining the main stage and the likes of The Script and Scottish acts Twin Atlantic and Calum Bowie to play.
On Saturday, Ayrshire band Biffy Clyro, who headlined the first TRNSMT festival in 2017, will play the main stage as the top act.
The festival culminates with Snow Patrol on the main stage on Sunday.
This year’s event will mark the eighth instalment of Scotland’s largest music festival.
What is the full TRNSMT line-up?
TRNSMT festival will host acts on five different stages, including the King Tuts Stage and the BBC Introducing and BBC Radio 1 stages.
Along with the headliners, acts such as The Kooks, Sigrid, Gracie Abrams and JADE will play across the weekend.

Glasgow Central to East Kilbride and Ayr will also have additional services.
The festival is a short walk from High Street and Argyle Street stations.
Commuters will, however, be affected by strikes on Glasgow’s Subway network this weekend.

How to watch TRNSMT 2025

Full performances from acts will be available on BBC iPlayer.
Singer and radio host Shereen Cutkelvin is to present the shows.
What’s the weather going to be like?
Scotland is set for a warm weekend with temperatures to soar to 30C.
STV News Meteorologist Sean Batty said temperatures will steadily climb into the low 20s over the next few days, but things are set to heat up more significantly by the weekend.
He said: “A word of caution, too: UV levels are at their peak right now, and where the sun does break through, it can burn in under 30 minutes. So be sure to slap on that sun cream.
“Pollen levels are also expected to spike later in the week – something hay fever sufferers will want to prepare for.”
What am I allowed to bring into TRNSMT and what is prohibited?
Concertgoers can bring a bag smaller than A4 paper, a valid ID, a bank card or contactless payment, and an empty soft water bottle or pouch 500ml or less (no glass or metal).
Other essentials are being advised, such as a small travel-size sunscreen, portable phone charger, small camera, sunglasses, wet wipes or tissues, earplugs, and a small hand sanitiser.
Any medication needed must be clearly labelled and in the original box or container.
If using a syringe, get in touch with the festival’s accessibility team beforehand and take this to one of the first aid points where it can be disposed of safely.
Disposable vapes, bags bigger than A4 paper, glass (including perfumes), metal/glass/ hard plastic water bottles, food or drink (even if unopened), drugs, flares, fireworks and smoke canisters, chairs, professional cameras, selfie sticks, and umbrellas are prohibited.
What else is on offer at TRNSMT?
Revellers can visit the Rockstar Energy Drink Bar, Pepsi Max, Jägermeister’s Jägerplatz, Smirnoff Bar, as well as Three’s ‘Charge and Vibe’ and a second charging station.
Also returning will be the Hangout, the home of secret sets, an over-18s space which will host Bongo’s Bingo and Drag-aoke.
The smallest stage at the festival hosted one of the biggest moments last year when Travis stepped out to perform their back catalogue to a small crowd.

This year, there are gaps in the schedule, suggesting fans will be treated to special secret performances once again.
The organisers also revealed festival-goers can plan their weekend of music with TRNSMT’s app, allowing them to create a personalised schedule of their favourite artists set times.
A festival spokesperson said: “We’re buzzing to share the official TRNSMT site map with fans – it means we’re one step closer to gates opening.
“It’s the perfect tool to start planning your weekend, from finding your favourite stage to checking out bars, food spots, and all the key information to make the most of your festival experience.
“We can’t wait to welcome everyone to Glasgow Green very soon.”
