Music fans were forced to stand in scorching summer temperatures as a queuing issues led some to miss acts at Saturday’s TRNSMT festival.
Staff handed out bottles of water as lines to see the likes of The Strokes, Example and Fontaines D.C. stretched from Glasgow Green back to the Merchant City.
However revellers were able to party on day two of the festival once they got inside as thousands packed in for a star-studded line up.
They also saw The Snuts, Self-Esteem and Maximo Park play in Glasgow.
Festival bosses later apologised for “longer than average waiting times” to enter the event.
Over 50,000 people are expected to attend each day of the event, which concludes on Sunday with a main stage closing performance by West Lothian singer Lewis Capaldi.
But ScotRail have warned there will be no trains after it finishes, with the newly-nationalised rail firm having told revellers to check their travel options.
