A man and woman have been arrested after drugs worth £130,000 were seized by police in a Glasgow raid.
Officers found the large haul of Etizolam tablets during the operation in Maryhill’s Tresta Road on Tuesday afternoon.
A 33-year-old man and 34-year-old woman were subsequently arrested and charged in connection with drug offences.
The pair are expected to appear at Glasgow’s Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Detective chief inspector John Morrison said: “This was a significant recovery and I want to reassure the people of Glasgow that we continue to use every tool at our disposal to remove these illegal substances from the community.
“Our work often relies on the support of the public, so anyone with any information or concerns about drug misuse, are asked to contact us.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
