Two men have been charged after police uncovered a haul of cannabis worth £150,000 from a car in Inverclyde.
Road policing officers pulled over the vehicle on Port Glasgow’s Markinch Road at around 6.40pm on Wednesday, July 5.
The drugs were recovered and the two occupants, aged 32 and 36, arrested.
They are set to appear in court on Thursday, July 6.
Detective superintendent Craig Willison said: “This was a significant drugs recovery that has taken £150,000 worth of drugs out of our communities.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to disrupting their supply.
“This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
