Two people were taken to hospital after a car flipped onto its roof following a crash on the M8.
The westbound carriageway at Junction 27 in Hillington was closed due to the collision after 1pm on Monday.
Multiple ambulances and fire engines responded with two people taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital following the collision.
Drivers were seen leaving vehicles as the traffic came to a complete standstill, with delays of up to 40 minutes reported.
Police confirmed the road was fully reopened in both directions after 5.30pm.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Ambulance Service said: “We received a call at 1.20pm to attend a road traffic collision on the M8.
“We dispatched a rapid response unit, two ambulances, our special operations team and a critical care paramedic.
“We transported two patients to Royal Alexandra Hospital.”
Police Scotland and the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service have been contacted for comment.
