Two men are in hospital after a crash involving a car, van and lorry in Dumfries and Galloway.
Officers were called to the A7 north of Langholm around 12.30pm on Tuesday following reports of a collision involving three vehicles.
A 48-year-old man was taken to Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle while a 57-year-old man was taken Borders General Hospital in Galashiels.
Police said the road remains closed while investigations are carried out and the vehicles are recovered.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.30pm on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, we were called to a report of a crash, involving a car, a van and a lorry, on the A7, north of Langholm.
“Emergency services attended and one man, aged 48, was taken to the Cumberland Infirmary.
“A 57-year-old man was taken Borders General Hospital, Galashiels.
“The road is closed to allow for recovery and collision investigation. Enquiries are ongoing.”
