Two men have been arrested after a cannabis farm was discovered a property in Greenock.
Officers raided the property on Newark Street on Wednesday where they seized the cultivation.
Police said two men, aged 29 and 36, had been arrested.
Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
Cannabis is listed as a class B drug in the UK, and the maximum prison term for supplying it is five years in prison.
A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “Two men aged, 29 and 36, have been arrested following a pre-planned operation in Greenock.
“On Wednesday, February 14, 2024, officers, acting under warrant, entered a property in Newark Street and discovered a cannabis cultivation site.
“Enquiries remain ongoing.”
