Two men have been taken to hospital following a serious assault in East Kilbride.
Emergency services were called to a garage on Wilson Place at around 1.25pm on Monday.
Two men, aged 45 and 41, were taken to hospital for treatment.
Police are said to be “keeping an open mind” as to whether the incident is connected to an ongoing gang war between two groups.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.25pm on Monday, May 19, 2025, we received a report of a serious assault on Wilson Place, East Kilbride.
“Emergency services attended, and a 45-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Hairmyres and a 41-year-old man was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
