Two people were taken to hospital following a crash between a bus and a car in Glasgow.
A large emergency service response, including four fire appliances and a heavy rescue vehicle, were called to Dumbarton Road in Yoker after a First bus collided with a car at around 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Two people were taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital as a precaution.
Enquiries into the crash remain ongoing at this time.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 1.32pm on Tuesday, March 12 to reports of a road traffic collision involving a bus and a vehicle on Dumbarton Road, Yoker.
“Operations Control mobilised four fire appliances and one specialist heavy rescue vehicle to the scene where crews made the area safe.”
A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at 1.33pm to attend a two vehicle RTC on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.
“Multiple resources were dispatched to the scene including three ambulances and two special operations response teams (SORT). Two patients were transported to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.30pm on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, officers received a report of a two vehicle crash on Dumbarton Road, Glasgow.
“Two people were taken to hospital as a precaution.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
